How Insonem Capital Ltd handles the personal information you give us.
Who we are
Insonem Capital Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 14634157, registered office 35 Ballards Lane, London, England, N3 1XW.
If you have any question about this policy or about how we use your information, write to info@insonemcapital.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us, plus the technical information any website receives in order to work.
When you use the contact form
- Your first name and last name
- Your email address
- Whatever you write in the message field
Automatically, when you visit
- Your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested, recorded in our hosting provider’s server logs for security and to keep the site running
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and this website sets no cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss working together. Our lawful basis is that this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact our business.
- To keep the website secure and available. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our systems from misuse.
We do not use your information for marketing unless you have separately asked us to, and we never sell it.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf under contract:
- Our website host, which stores the site, keeps server logs and passes contact form submissions to us by email
- Our email provider, which delivers and stores the messages you send to our info@ address
- Google, which serves the typefaces used on this site. When your browser loads a font, your IP address is transmitted to Google. No cookies are set by this.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
Where your information is held
Some of these providers store or process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, so your information keeps essentially the same protection it has in the UK.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Where we go on to work together, we keep records for as long as necessary for that relationship and then for six years, to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Server logs are kept for a short period, typically no more than 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Ask us to delete your information
- Ask us to restrict how we use it
- Object to our using it on the basis of legitimate interests
- Ask us to transfer it to you or another provider in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where we relied on consent
To exercise any of these, email info@insonemcapital.com. We will respond within one month. Exercising your rights is free.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Automated decisions
